I stayed one night on my transfer to Heathrow and the room was perfect for that and the money. Close to the train station.

I stayed alone for one night after the Reading Beer Festival. The hotel is in an excellent location right near to the station. It was a little noisy at night but nothing that ear plugs can't block out! The room was fairly small but very clean, with a small but very good shower. The hotel/room felt secure. I was contacted in advance to tell me that I could check in early which was really appreciated.

The rooms are above a cafe and as I arrived after it was closed, I had to phone a number on the door and then retrieve my key from a wall safe. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to know in advance. Also, an information sheet in the room with wi-fi code and breakfast information would have been useful.
La Baguette is very convenient for the railway station and was perfect for my needs as I was only staying one night to attend a funeral. Clean and comfortable. Would recommend it for a basic stay.

The bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I like the set up, a cafe next to the B&B entrance. Make sure you let them know when you are checking in. Room was clean and bathroom had everything I needed. Towel warmer and plenty of towels! So close to the train station. Wifi was strong and breakfast was full English and delicious. Definitely wanted to stay longer and I'm glad I didn't judge by other reviews. I would definitely recommend! P.s rooms were small but not so small I couldn't workout in them
